**Q: Is there a free version?**
A: Yes. The free tier covers up to 100 items, 50 patrons and 10,000 loan records, with no card details and no time limit. Most small church and community libraries fit inside it comfortably and never need to pay.

**Q: What do I get when I subscribe?**
A: One flat yearly fee lifts the limits to 5,000 items, 500 patrons and unlimited loan records. Everything else is identical - the limits exist to prevent abuse, not to gate features. There is no card needed to start and no contract.

**Q: What happens if I go over the free-tier limits or stop paying?**
A: Your data is always kept, never deleted, and nothing is ever locked away. If you reach the free-tier limits without subscribing, you simply cannot add new items or patrons until you subscribe or remove some - everything you already have stays fully usable and editable. If a paid year ends without renewing, your library returns to the free tier on the same terms. A full export of your data is available on request at any time.

**Q: Can I cancel at any time?**
A: Yes. There is no contract. Cancelling stops the next yearly renewal but does not cut short the year you have already paid for, and you keep paid access until that year ends, after which your library moves back to the free tier.
